Vasco Completo - Wormhole (Remixes)
If there's one thing we know about Wormholes, it's that they connect us to different dimensions of space-time. The best, or indeed, the only way in which we see time travel being feasible - the DeLorean has never taken off... But its probability is small. Let the physicists correct us! Art itself can serve as a bit of a wormhole for us, from time to time. If you remember, it was this perspective - both on a personal and a more communicable level - that this album was originally about.
It's been over two years since "Wormhole", Vasco Completo's debut album, came out. More precisely, at the time of this new release, 2 years, 4 months and 17 days will have passed. In the meantime, more of his music has come out, he's preparing to release a collaborative EP with João Tamura and he's in the process of finishing his second album.
But let's take this opportunity and revisit the 2021 release with "Wormhole Remixes" with a remix of "Lullaby for the Inebriate" by Maria - his partner in Monster Jinx -; with ambient edits of his, from which he unveils the seeds that germinated into the themes as you know them today; and shows stripped-down versions, with more room for your imagination to decipher new coordinates for this indecipherable astrophysics theme.
"Wormhole Remixes" is out on September 1st on all digital platforms, with the Monster Jinx label and Altafonte distribution.
