ROXO 07
Already in its 7th edition, our compilation series is only a small part of Monster Jinx’s history. However, the ROXO series is becoming more and more part of our label’s DNA. They’re a good way to gather all the crew. In a group as dynamic, growing and restless as this, releasing this kind of compilation also reflects our evolution: where we are, who’s with us at the time, and (more importantly) where we are going with this.
Since the family is getting bigger each year, this ROXO 07 is also one of the longest of the series, with 16 tracks that absorb influences from hip-hop, electronic, rock and (almost) everything that’s in between those genres, from the contemplative and revitalizing, to the slashing and celebratory.
These compilations, now a backbone of Monster Jinx’s work through almost a decade, are annually released on cassette tape, besides being available digitally. ROXO 07 won’t be any different, and it’s out the 18th of March.
Besides everything, the ROXO series have given us more opportunities to work with artists we admire. This time around, it was up to The Caver to design the cover art for this annual celebration of our crew.
