She was a soul looking for a home and took refuge in ethereal beats, melodic samples and astral keys. Welcome to the planet of EVAWAVE.
In her sound we seem to find ourselves on a spiritual journey. Sometimes she controls these journeys from her home studio. At other times, you can hear her driving in live set mode. In the cockpit we can see knobs and buttons making these sonic layers dynamic. In the audience there's an imaginary terrace with a cool cocktail overlooking planet Earth. It's a mysterious but addictive tutti-frutti.
EVAWAVE's production draws as much from neo-soul hip-hop as it does from the more downtempo electronica and trip-hop of the 90s. An ethereal aesthetic that is incapable of ignoring groove.
Her musicality extends to his voice: she incorporates it among the layers that enrich these instrumentals. Whether it's for rappers or even for humans and aliens to dance to when, one day, we find ourselves on Mars or, who knows, in any other cosmos.
